Chiropractor
Gaspare Scarantino D.C.
Dr. Gaspare Scarantino graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida in 2006. While he was there, he served as the first ever President of the Sports Chiropractic club. He earned proficiency in Activator Methods, Thompson Technique and Cox Flexion / Distraction Technique.
His interest in anatomy and physiology started early on at Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, NY. As a high school athlete, he was curious about how the body can work to its optimal level to compete better. While competing in the Empire State Games as a decathlete in Albany, NY he had an ankle injury during the pole-vaulting portion of the competition and was taken care of by the medical staff immediately. While seeing how this team of professionals was able to help an athlete aid his body to work efficiently, his interest was sparked. That spark eventually grew into becoming a certified personal trainer and then a chiropractor. He obtained certifications from the International Sport Science Association (ISSA) and the American Council of Exercise (ACE).
Dr. Scarantino is also a first generation American and proud son of Italian immigrants. He is very thankful for everything this great country has given him and his family and it’s still important for him to keep traditions alive like Sunday dinners and making homemade wine every season. Family has always been a key aspect of his life.
He wed in 2012 and has two wonderful boys. In 2021, they moved to Massapequa Park and became parishioners of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He enjoys many recreational sports and of course spending time with family. He tries to accomplish both while coaching baseball at Massapequa Coast Little League and St. Rose CYO basketball.
His love for chiropractic health care is only exceeded by his love for family and he loves to treat his patients just like family as he gets to know them better and as they grow together in health.
