Dr. Fred Jones
Dr. Fred Jones has been a chiropractor for over 30 years graduating from New York Chiropractic College in 1984. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner and has recently earned an Advanced Certification in Whiplash Biomechanics & Injury Trauma from the Spine Institute of San Diego. He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, the N.Y.S. Chiropractic Association and served as Vice President of District 6 in 2004. Additionally, he is a certified BackSafe Industrial Consultant and has a Disability Impairment Rating Certification from the Parker College of Chiropractic. Dr. Jones is often asked by various attorneys to provide expert testimony for auto and personal injury cases.
Dr. Jones serves as the team physician for the Long Island Rough Riders, Long Island's Professional Soccer Team, as well as for The Mineola Portuguese Soccer Club. Dr. Jones is a member of the Merrick Kiwanis Club, The Lions Club, The Merrick Chamber of Commerce and the Freeport Emergency Rescue Volunteer Fire Department. He was selected as Merrick's Man of the Year in 1998 for his many volunteer efforts within the community.
Dr. Jones is also an avid cyclist and is a former participant in the amateur Tour De France. His passion for health and wellness is truly inspiring.
Dr. Chantal Santos
Dr. Chantal Santos graduated from Adelphi University in 2008 with a prior undergraduate degree in Biology. She moved from Westbury, New York to pursue her chiropractic degree in Port Orange, Florida at Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated with her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2013. She is a certified Graston Technique provider and is involved in techniques ranging from Activator adjusting, Diversified, Drop Table (Thompson), Flexion & Distraction, along with various others.
Dr. Santos is an active member of the New York Chiropractic Association (NYSCA) and Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA). Her focus is on restoring the body's natural mobility and balance. She stresses the crucial nature of properly functioning musculoskeletal, nervous, and immune systems to achieve optimal health. Dr. Santos emphasizes patient education, giving her patients the confidence and knowledge necessary to take an active part in recovery to optimum health and injury prevention. This approach applies a combination of modalities, including cold laser, myofascial release, deep muscle stretching and trigger point therapy as well as chiropractic manipulation to help the nervous system function at its optimal potential. She approaches her individually tailored visits with an emphasis of pain reduction and restoring the body's bio mechanics, focusing on the patient as a whole.
Dr. Keith Schiller
Dr. Keith Schiller went to Tulane University in New Orleans where he earned a Bachelor of Science. His scholastic interests included health care and the environment. Fate resulted in a lower back injury the summer after he finished college which lead to him becoming a patient in a chiropractic office. Fascinated by the experience and ready to embark on a life path, he entered New York Chiropractic College. Upon graduation, Dr. Schiller opened his private practice on the Upper East Side in New York City in 1987 and continues to work there to this day. In 2014, Dr. Schiller also joined the staff at Sunrise Chiropractic in Merrick, NY. Dr. Schiller utilizes techniques such as diversified, cox flexion distraction, gonstead, upper cervical, Sacro Occipital and he specializes in deep tissue myofascial release . Additionally, Dr. Schiller offers nutritional counseling and exercise rehabilitation. Conditions treated are sports related injuries, shoulder and knee pain, headaches and injuries associated with trauma such as those sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
