Diversified
The diversified technique is used by chiropractors to adjust misaligned spinal segments in the back or neck, and is one of the most common forms of chiropractic treatment. The goal of diversified treatment is to repair and restore proper biomechanical functioning to the spine and correct subluxations. The diversified technique can also be used for injuries to external joints. After a complete examination and x-rays, a series of high velocity, low amplitude thrusts are made to the area which often results in popping sound. The popping sound is perfectly normal while the adjustment is being performed.
